What is The Kanaumi Selection?

The Kanaumi Selection is a membership-based wine club offering you exclusive wines that are not currently available in the Singapore market.

Wines are meticulously tasted and carefully selected by our founder, Yusuke Kanaumi.

These wines come from smaller production, family owned producers who release limited quantities each year.

Our relationship with these domaines permit us to import their wines and delivering them to your doorstep.

What wines do you sell?

We are currently offering French wines from the Rhône Valley. The majority of wines are based on Syrah for red wines and Viognier, Marsanne, Roussanne for white wines.

How do I purchase your wines?

If you are a member:

Log in and go to our Allocation List and proceed with your purchase.

If you are not a member:

Apply for free membership here. You will then receive an activation email to set up your account. Once you are set, log in and proceed to our allocation list.

What if I find your wines somewhere else?

If you find our wines anywhere in Singapore, we will refund your purchase and immediately take it off our allocation list.

In such a case, we ask that you provide the following:

  • Legible photo of the wine label (front and back), which must include the producer, vintage, appellation, and name of the wine
  • A picture of the wine list if found at a restaurant or bar
  • Name of establishment where you found the wine
  • Date of occurrence

We will then verify that the wine was imported to Singapore through the correct channels before we process your refund.

Please not that the following cases do not warrant a refund:

  • Different vintage
  • Privately imported wine
  • The wine has been purchased through an auction
  • Previous contract with another importer
  • The wine was purchased through a non-Singapore based establishment and re-exported into Singapore

What if the wines are corked or faulty?

Contact us right away!

The majority of our producers use DIAM or Nomacorc, which function almost exactly like natural corks but without the risk of cork taint or other faults. Therefore, your wines should be fresh and expressive, exactly how the producers intended.

However, if your wines smell faulty send us an email right away and we will get back to you immediately.

Membership

How do I become a member?

Sign up for membership by going to our application here or by clicking Apply.

If you have an invitation code, you will be prompted to enter it there.

Due to the limited number of wines, membership will be on a waitlist basis once we reach the maximum slots.

What are the benefits of being a member?

As a member of The Kanaumi Selection, you have exclusive access to our allocation list. You will be the first to be informed of our new selections and receive invitations to our promotional events such as tasting sessions, wine pairing meals and educational courses.

In addition, you will have 2 invitation codes to offer your inner circle.

Further benefits will be rolled out in the future as our Selection grows, and you will always be in the know.

Is there a waitlist?

Currently, there is no waitlist. We are still accepting applications for membership but once we reach capacity, a waitlist will be created.

How much does membership cost?

We do not charge membership fees.

However, certain requirements must be fulfilled to maintain membership. See "Does my membership expire?" for more details.

Does my membership expire?

Membership will never expire if the following conditions are met:

  1. Make a purchase once every 6 months.
  2. Use your invitation code to invite another potential member.

If these conditions are not met, we will contact you to see if you would like to keep your membership. If you do, you will need to make a purchase to maintain your account. If not, we will offer your slot to those on the waitlist and you must reapply to become a member.

Ordering and Shipping

How do I place an order?

Once you become a member, you will be granted a personal account and access to our Allocation List.

Add your preferred wines to the cart and proceed to checkout as you would in any online store.

What are your accepted forms of payment?

We accept major credit cards (Visa, Mastercard, UnionPay, Amex), PayPal, Shop Pay and Google Pay.

Where do you deliver?

We currently only deliver locally in Singapore.

Do you offer free shipping?

Yes, we offer free shipping for orders above S$250.

What are your delivery options?

All orders above $250 qualify for free shipping. They will take 2-3 business days.

Pick up is available from our warehouse and will be processed in 1-2 business days.

Cut off time for Next Day Delivery is 2:00pm. Any orders placed on Friday after the cut off time will be processed on Monday and delivered on Tuesday.
